One of our go to places for coffee. We need to time things right so we actually get food but because it's an "add on" to a foodie adventure we normally only get coffee and a mochi Twinkie. Coffee wise- I get the ube latte usually iced. Bae gets either ube or pandan. Both are good! My only wish is that they offered skim milk. Coffee shop is super cute. Not a lot of seating but enough. We have never had a problems finding a 2 top. Plenty of ample parking. Staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable.

Normally, I order a drink when I visit Mano Modern. I love the creative twists they take on classic drinks such as their ube chai or white rabbit latte. Like many, I have succumbed to the low sugar tolerance curse which thankfully isn't a problem here. While the drinks are sweet, I never worried about a potential toothache. Service is always quick, even on the weekends. Usually, I get my order in less than 10 minutes. If you're in a rush, you can also place your order in advance online via their website. Their space is fairly small, so noise should be expected. I have had luck in the afternoons and have been able to wrap up my assignments with little interruption or distractions. Overall, the cafe has a chill vibe and is one of my favorite coffee shops when I'm in the area. My go to drink is the pandan latte! I prefer iced drinks but think the heat is better at drawing out the flavors of the syrups they use.

I have been meaning to try some newer stuff rather my traditional latte or cappuccino. Decided to try their ube latte and it wasn't for me. At least the hot version wasn't. The iced version might be a little better but won't find out until it's gets warmer. I placed my order online and my coffee was ready by the time I arrived. Great staff, I just hope I'll enjoy the iced version a little bit more.

I came here I was visiting my in laws in Chicago. I really wanted Filipino breakfast since I'm half Filipino haha. I got ube latte which was pretty good. The ube flavor was light and had flavoring of roasted ube. I also got longanisa silog. I love longanisa it's a sweet sausage. The silog is combination of garlic fried rice with fried egg. It's incredible combination. I was very shocked how fast our food came out. It seemed liked 10mins right after ordering the food was ready. The ambiance is very peaceful and unique. I liked the colors of the green walls and specs of the culture from the Philippines such as jeepney model on the shelf. If you use the restroom you'll get kick of spam cans as decor and even Tabo. Haha! If you know you know! If I am ever back in the area. I will come back to try more things like the ube banana bread.

Okay, I am already thinking about when I can go back. This was a good spot for remote work. I ordered an ube chai latte with oat milk. It was absolutely delicious but I was a little put off that they charge extra for oat milk. Also, there was an extra charge for ube, but I ordered an ube chai from their menu? Nonetheless it was amazing. For food I first got the pan de sal slider with longanisa with a side of hash brown. I liked this pan de sal better than Kasama's. The sandwich is smaller though, so I ended up going back and ordering a slider with tocino too. The sandwich is very messy because of the yolk so I recommend asking for utensils if you don't want to get the yolk all over your hands. The hashbrown was nice and crispy and not greasy at all. On my way out I ordered the lumpia and coconut pork bowl to take home for my husband. He really enjoyed the coconut pork!

FANTASTIC new coffee shop that my husband has become obsessed with. We stopped in on a day off together and enjoyed the atmosphere and decor and the coffees were very good quality. Modern Filipino influence. I've tried the Ube latte and the Pandan latte. I'm an Ube girly through and through so that's my pick! Their plain vanilla oat milk latte is quite to die for though I must say. They offer a menu of Filipino food that looks divine and I really look forward to trying. Saw others food come out and it looked and smelled wonderful. If you're in a rush you may want to skip this place. This is not a Starbucks- this is carefully made coffee crafted by a single barista. Great quality. We waited for probably 10-15 minutes for our two coffees to go. I didn't mind because the cafe is a very nice vibe!

Yay for more Filipino coffee shops! As soon as we touched down to Chicago, I knew I wanted to come here. The drinks looked delicious on Yelp and I had to get my hands on them. I absolutely loved the ube and buko pandan drinks. They were so good. My friend got an iced tea and she liked it too. This looks like a great coffee place to work out of too as they had ample space. I'd def come back here.

I love how there are so many modern Filipino food options now in Chicago! And I love me some Longanisa, tocino and garlic fried rice, AKA Silog! It's such a great comfort food if you are Filipino as this is something that I grew up on. I love the ambiance of a small intimate cafe where you can get a full meal, cafe beverages, and dessert! Their Shanghai egg rolls are delicious and come in shareable sizes which come in handy if you got some hungry teens with you! The ube tiramisu is also a must have! Can't believe I forgot to take a picture of it as I was enjoying the creamy goodness of this sweet treat. You just need to trust me on this one and try it for yourself. Definitely recommend!

Mano is a fun cafe that has a strong neighborhood community vibe. I visited for the first time recently and I'll definitely be back to hang out with a book or with my laptop. The service was great. The staff was really knowledgeable about their offerings and were patient in walking me through the menu. I got a hashbrown (fried to perfection!) and the ube steamer. Overall the food and drink were solid. My only complaint is that the order waiting area can get pretty packed because it's so small.
